Corazon de Oro SCHOLARSHIP 

The Corazon de Oro scholarship was created to honor the memory of Abraham Esparza Jr. Abe was a driven individual.  As a graduate of Lane Tech and a member of the Boys Varsity Soccer team, Abe excelled not only on the soccer field, but also within his community. Abe had a passion to help and serve others, whether it be volunteering at immigrant shelters in Arizona, to becoming a Chicago police officer to better help his community, Abe had no fear of helping.

We honor Abe by celebrating the three pillars that helped him make a difference:

This scholarship fund is dedicated to individuals within the Lane Tech soccer community who share this same passion on and off the field to help their community.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduating senior graduating from Lane Tech.

• Must have played a season of soccer at Lane Tech, any level (JV, Varsity, etc.).

• Must have plans to continue your education after graduating (University, College, trade school, etc.).
